Brion’s Tomb is a one-layer screenprint based on the architecture of Brion’s Tomb designed by Carlo Scarpa in Italy. Brion’s Tomb is a cemetery commissioned by Onorina Brion for her husband, Giuseppe Brion, in 1968. The main building material is concrete, and the construction is very geometric and rigid. To contrast the rigidity of the structure, the structures are surrounded by ponds and plants. Scarpa utilized mosaics and the vesica piscis symbol throughout to symbolize the bond between husband and wife.

Prints may vary slightly from image due to this artwork being hand-printed.
